Raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Ben attended Tufts University. He graduated with honors in 2009, double majoring in Psychology and Drama.
He also attended the British American Drama Academy (BADA) in London and recently completed the American Theatre Wing's SpringboardNYC program.
In the Spring of 2007, Ben co-founded Background Productions. Thus far, the group has made two award-winning short films, and one award-winning feature with another in post-production. Ben wrote and directed all four of these projects.
